The Order of Saint Eulalia in Scotland

The Government in Scotland is represented by a Chancellor appointed by the Grand Master of the Order. Together with the Chancellors of England and Wales they form the Grand Council for the United Kingdom. All Chancellors act as Ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary (or Ministers) of the Central Government (The Chancellery) and they are the highest ranking individuals to represent the Order in their appointed States. Their work is to advise and assist the Grand Master in any given area and to represent the Order to all official entities and in all official ceremonies.

The Chancellor of Scotland presides to and is assisted by the Council of Scotland composed by the eight Counselors in charge of the eight Dioceses and Archdioceses of Scotland: Saint Andrews and Edinburg, Glasgow, Paisley, Argyll and the Isles, Motherwell, Dunkeld, Aberdeen and Galloway. Each Counselor is assisted locally by two Lieutenants.
